Over the past weekend, (October 6th-9th), we joined forces with the Moniker Art Fair to introduce the Moniker Art Fair App, powered by ActivCanvas, to enhance an already progressive art fair.With virtual reality, interactive installations and an emphasis on "digital" it was a perfect fit.
Moniker Art Fair returned for its seventh year at the iconic Old Truman Brewery in London’s Shoreditch, having firmly established itself as one of London’s premiere event for contemporary art with its roots embedded in urban culture.
Introducing an app in the context of this particular fair felt natural and the visitors responded amazingly well. We know one of the biggest challenges with the app is making it easy for visitors to download and start using and it’s important to go in with a strategy to ensure the app is a success with your customers.
So, here are some of the key elements of our strategy that worked especially well and some things we are working on for the future.
Just remember, the app adds to the experience and customers love it. Sometimes they might need a little bit of encouragement to try something new.
